  Des Perriot has released their Spring 2022 Collection for New York Fashion Week inspired by the wild and iconic times of Studio 54. The collection displays both street wear and hand made pieces.

New York designer Mia Vesper has debuted her Spring/Summer 22 "See Me" collection in a digital release for fashion week. According to Vesper, the inspiration behind this collection has been about about "finding your place in the world through dress" and " how extraordinary it is to have never fit the mold, and reflects on the pure joy in finding a kindred spirit". For this fabulous collection Vesper collaborated with models Posterboy and Briana Chlo who displayed her new collection effortlessly in style. The garments combine a vintage fabrics and modern look. Vespers designs can be seen sported by celebrities such as Young Thug and Beyonce, for whom she created a custom piece for "Black Is King." We sat down with Shevanee, A canvas painter from New York City to find out the scoop on her art!

The Baby Phat brand has made a comeback with a twist now incorporating beauty into it's line. After launching Baby Phat in 1999, Kimora Lee created what had seemed to be one of the most successful womens streetwear brands of the decade.  In 2010, Lee sold the brand but re-purchased it back in 2019. Initally she had planned to make the brand a mainstream sportswear brand but she has also incorporated some beauty products as well as dresses and accessories. Known as the king of the "Red Bottom" shoe Christian Louboutin typically creates chic, edgy, artistic designs. Here are a few items from one of his new looks for the fall season. New York City's own LaQuan smith has been quietly making waves in the fashion world for nearly the last decade. According to his  story   he was born in Queens, NY. Smith was denied entry to both FIT and Parsons in 1998 yet he went on to debut his first collection in 2003. During the pandemic he completly sold out.  His high fashion designs include dresses, bodysuits, jumpsuits, pants, skirts, outerwear and accessories. His body suits are sleek, sheer and sexy. His dresses are the same mixed with a little bit of high fashion and elegance. For the past year as we experienced a pandemic we have seen a great transition of the way that business runs in our economy. Many businesses have been unable to manage the economic challenges, while others have been newly created and are now thriving. As more and more people began shopping online we have seen a rise in many digital small businesses, including virtual boutiques. Virtual boutiques are slowly begining to rise by marketing via social media platforms such a facebook and instagram. Typical start up costs and virtual store is typically less than a brick and mortar. Dave East and Harry Fraud collaborate to release their Hoffa Project. The album has a steady old school vibe mixed with a bit of new school. The pair collaborated with several artist including French Montana, Jim Jones and the late Kiing Shooter.  

Bryson Tiller has released a modified version of his Anniversary album with multiple new songs including "Still Yours" featuring big sean. Tiller origionally released his Anniversary album in fall of 2020. Check out his song "Losing Focus" below!
